Description

The project was developed by Datang Huayin Zhangjiajie Hydropower Development. KD Chem, Hunan Xiangtou Holding Group and Zhangjiajie Economic Development Investment Group are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51%, 35% and 14% respectively.

Yutan (Lishui) is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 121.5 million cubic meter. The project generated 271 GWh of electricity.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 1991 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 1999.

The power generated from the project is sold to State Grid Corporation of China under a power purchase agreement.

The turbines for the hydro power project have been supplied by Addnew Hydropower Limited & Addnew Technologies and Guangdong Shaoguan Zhongli Power Generation Equipment.
