The project is developed and owned by Zhangiz Solar.
Zhangiztobe Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 66 hectares.
The project generates 36,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 15,000 households, offsetting 31,650t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $22.5m.
Development status
The project got commissioned in June 2019.
Contractors involved
Universal Energy was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
The project is utilising trackers supplied by Arctech Solar Holding.
