- Project Implementation: 40 contracts and a 69% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: 14 contracts and a 24.1% share
- Power Purchase Agreement: four contracts and a 6.9% share.
Asia-Pacific leads power plant activity in April 2021
Comparing contracts activity in power plant segment in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 26 contracts and a share of 44.8% during April 2021, followed by Europe with 13 contracts and a 22.4% share and North America with eight contracts and a 13.8% share.

Among the technologies, solar accounted for 31 contracts with a 51.7% share, followed by wind with 13 contracts and a 21.7% share and thermal with ten contracts and a 16.7% share.

The top issuers of power plant contracts for the month in terms of power capacity involved were:
- ACWA Power International (Saudi Arabia) and The Saudi Public Investment Fund (Saudi Arabia): 1,500MW from one contract
- State Power Investment (China) and Yuneng Group: 1,320MW from one contract
- CEME1 (Chile): 480MW capacity from one contract.

- China Energy Engineering Group Planning and Engineering (China): 2,610MW from five contracts
