The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 37 contracts and a 66.1% share
  2. Power Purchase Agreement: eight contracts and a 14.3% share
  3. Consulting & Similar Services: six contracts and a 10.7% share
  4. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: five contracts and an 8.9% share.

Asia-Pacific leads power plant activity in November 2020

Comparing contracts activity in power plant segment in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 24 contracts and a share of 42.9% during November 2020, followed by Europe with 13 contracts and a 23.2% share and North America with 11 contracts and a 19.6% share.

Among the technologies, solar accounted for 32 contracts with a 54.2% share, followed by wind with 14 contracts and a 23.7% share and thermal with four contracts and a 6.8% share.
