The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:

  1. Project Implementation: 302 contracts and an 86.8% share

Among the technologies, solar accounted for 231 contracts with a 66.2% share, followed by wind with 53 contracts and a 15.2% share and thermal with 32 contracts and a 9.2% share.

The top issuers of power plant contracts for the quarter in terms of power capacity involved were:

  1. JERA (Japan) and JXTG Nippon Oil & Energy (Japan): 2,340MW from one contract
  2. Ministry of Electricity, Iraq (Iraq): 1,600MW from one contract
  3. Van Phong Power: 1,320MW capacity from one contract.
