Among the technologies, solar accounted for 70 tenders with a 74.5% share, followed by hydro with ten tenders and a 10.6% share and thermal with eight tenders and an 8.5% share.

The top issuers of power plant tenders for the month in terms of power capacity involved were:

  2. Solar Energy Corporation of India (India): 2,418MW from four tenders
  3. Emirates Water and Electricity (United Arab Emirates): 1,500MW capacity from one tender.
