  1. Project Implementation: 82 tenders and a 77.4% share
  2. Consulting & Similar Services: 14 tenders and a 13.2% share
  3. Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: ten tenders and a 9.4% share.

Asia-Pacific leads power plant activity in July 2021

Comparing tenders activity in power plant segment in different regions of the globe, Asia-Pacific held the top position with 35 tenders and a share of 33% during July 2021, followed by Europe with 28 tenders and a 26.4% share and Middle East and Africa with 26 tenders and a 24.5% share.

Solar is leading technology for power plant tenders in July 2021

Among the technologies, solar accounted for 91 tenders with an 85.8% share, followed by hydro with five tenders and a 4.7% share and thermal with four tenders and a 3.8% share.

The top issuers of power plant tenders for the month in terms of power capacity involved were:

  1. Solar Energy Corporation of India (India): 1,301MW from three tenders
  2. Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, Turkey (Turkey): 1,000MW from one tender
  3. The Islamic Charity Center Society: 950MW capacity from one tender.
