Pragati Nagar Substation is a 400/220kV substation located in Pragati Nagar, Himachal Pradesh, India. The construction works on Pragati Nagar Substation began in 2015. The project was commissioned in 2020.
Description
The Pragati Nagar Substation project is an upgrade substation being operated by HP Power Transmission.
The designed voltage level of the project is 400/220kV, while the operating voltage level is 400/220kV. The step-in voltage of the substation is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 220kV. The substation capacity is 315MVA.
Pragati Nagar Substation has received approval from Himachal Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission to undertake the works on the project.
