Description

The project was developed by EDP Renewables North America. EDP Renewables North America and Atlantica Sustainable Infrastructure are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

The project generates 2,036MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 30,000 households, offsetting 290,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in December 2007.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Great River Energy under a power purchase agreement from 2008. The contracted capacity is 100MW.

Contractors Involved

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 61 units of V82-1.65 MW turbines, each with 1.65MW nameplate capacity.
