The project is being developed and currently owned by Pretty Prairie Wind.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 50,000 households.
The Tubular Steel structure to be installed at the Pretty Prairie Wind Farm (Pretty Prairie Wind Farm-I), site are expected to be 89m high.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Iron Mountain under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 145MW.
Contractors Involved
Pretty Prairie Wind Farm (Pretty Prairie Wind Farm-I) will be equipped with GE Renewable Energy 2.5-127 turbines. The phase consists of 81 turbines with 2.5MW nameplate capacity.
Pretty Prairie Wind Farm (Pretty Prairie Wind Farm-II) will be equipped with GE Renewable Energy 2.3-116 turbines. The phase consists of 7 turbines with 2.3MW nameplate capacity.
