The power generated from the project is sold to Ontario Power Authority under a power purchase agreement for a period of 22 years from 2006. The contracted capacity is 189MW.
Contractors Involved
M. A. Mortenson was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 126 units of 1.5-77 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
Northwind Solutions is the O&M contractor for the wind power project.
