The power generated from the project is sold to Karnataka Power Transmission under a power purchase agreement for a period of 35 years. The contracted capacity is 116MW.
Contractors Involved
China Machinery Engineering was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 6 units of bulb turbines, each with 39MW nameplate capacity.
