The project was developed by Canadian Solar and Isolux Ingenieria. The project is currently owned by Canadian Solar with a stake of 100%.
PS Cafayate Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 180 hectares.
The project generates 239,696MWh of electricity. The project cost is $150m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in July 2019.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Cammesa under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.056kWh for a period of 20 years, starting from 2019. The contracted capacity is 80MW.
Contractors Involved
PowerChina Guizhou Engineering was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 289,800 modules each with 345W of nameplate capacity.
Sungrow Power Supply supplied its SG3125HV inverters to the project site.
