Ptolemaida Substation is a 400kV substation located in Ptolemaida, Macedonia, Greece.

The Ptolemaida Substation project’s construction has begun in 2020. The works are expected to be commissioned in 2021.

Description

Ptolemaida Substation project, which is an upgrade substation, will be operated by IPTO.

The designed voltage level of the substation is 400/150kV and the operating voltage level is 400/150kV.

The step-in voltage of the project is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 150kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 125MVA.

Ptolemaida Substation project development status

The development of the Ptolemaida Substation project was approved by The Regulatory Authority for Energy in 2020. The project is expected to be commissioned in 2021.
