Qaisumah – Rafha Line is a 380kV overhead line with a length of 326.93km from Qaisumah, Eastern region, Saudi Arabia, to Rafha, Northern Borders, Saudi Arabia.
The project, which is currently in the planning stage, is expected to be commissioned in 2023.
Qaisumah – Rafha Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Saudi Electricity. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.
Approximately $88.7m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.
Qaisumah – Rafha Line project development status
The construction works on the Qaisumah – Rafha Line project will be commenced in 2021 and commissioning is expected in 2023.
Larsen & Toubro was appointed by Saudi Electricity to undertake the construction works on the Qaisumah – Rafha Line project.
