Qidfa Substation, United Arab Emirates

Qidfa Substation is a 400kV substation located in Qidfa, Eastern & Northern Region, United Arab Emirates.

The Qidfa Substation project’s construction has begun in 2021. The works are expected to be commissioned in 2022.

Description

Qidfa Substation project, which is an upgrade substation, will be operated by Abu Dhabi Transmission and Dispatch.

The designed voltage level of the substation is 400/132kV and the operating voltage level is 400/132kV.

The step-in voltage of the project is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 132kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 500MVA.

The project is expected to be commissioned in 2022.
