Qingju is a 136MW hydro power project. It is located on Jialing river/basin in Sichuan, China. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 2001 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2004.

Description

The project was developed by Sichuan Huaneng Jialing River Hydropower. China Huaneng Group, Sichuan Port and Channel Development and Nanchong Electric Power Development are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 55%, 30% and 15% respectively.

Qingju is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 117 million cubic meter. The project generated 599 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $119.56m.

Power Purchase Agreement
