Rahim Yar Khan Substation is a 500kV substation located in Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab, Pakistan. The construction works on Rahim Yar Khan Substation began in 2017. The project was commissioned in 2018.

Description

The Rahim Yar Khan Substation project is an upgrade substation being operated by National Transmission & Despatch.

The designed voltage level of the project is 500kV, while the operating voltage level is 500kV. The step-in voltage of the substation is 500kV. The substation capacity is 1,700MVA.

Rahim Yar Khan Substation has received approval from Water and Power Development Authority,Pakistan to undertake the works on the project.
