Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Punjab State Power under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years.

Contractors Involved

L&T Power was selected to render EPC services for the coal fired power project.

L&T-MHI Power Turbine Generators was selected as the turbine supplier for thermal power project. The project consists of 2 units of Tandem-compound, Quadruple Exhaust, Condensing Reheat Type turbines, each with 700MW nameplate capacity.

L&T-MHI Power Turbine Generators supplied electric generator for the Rajpura Thermal Power Project (Rajpura Thermal Power Project Unit I).

L&T-MHI Power Turbine Generators supplied electric generator for the Rajpura Thermal Power Project (Rajpura Thermal Power Project Unit II).

L&T-MHPS Boilers supplied steam boiler for the Rajpura Thermal Power Project (Rajpura Thermal Power Project Unit I).

Power Mech Projects is the O&M contractor for thermal power project.
