Ramallo Substation is a 500/220kV substation located in Ramallo, Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina. The construction works on Ramallo Substation began in 2014. The project was commissioned in 2015.

Description

The Ramallo Substation project is an upgrade substation being operated by Compania de Transporte de Energia Electrica en Alta Tension Transener.

The designed voltage level of the project is 500/220kV, while the operating voltage level is 500/220kV. The step-in voltage of the substation is 500kV and the step-out voltage is 220kV. The substation capacity is 300MVA.

Ramallo Substation has received approval from National Entity of Electricity Regulation to undertake the works on the project.
