The project is currently owned by The Israel Electric.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant that is used for Baseload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Diesel.

Ramat Hovav Combined Cycle Power Plant (Ramat Hovav Combined Cycle Power Plant Block II) is equipped with Siemens SGT5-4000F gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 260MW nameplate capacity.

GE Power supplied electric generator for the Ramat Hovav Combined Cycle Power Plant (Ramat Hovav Combined Cycle Power Plant Block I).

Siemens supplied Air Cooled electric generator for the Ramat Hovav Combined Cycle Power Plant (Ramat Hovav Combined Cycle Power Plant Block II).

Siemens Heat Transfer Technology supplied steam boiler for the Ramat Hovav Combined Cycle Power Plant (Ramat Hovav Combined Cycle Power Plant Block I).
