Regiomontano Banco I Substation is a 400/115kV substation located in Regiomontano Banco, Nuevo Leon, Mexico. The construction works on Regiomontano Banco I Substation began in 2016. The project was commissioned in 2017.


The Regiomontano Banco I Substation project is a new substation being operated by Comision Federal de Electricidad .

The designed voltage level of the project is 400/115kV, while the operating voltage level is 400/115kV.The step-in voltage of the substation is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 115kV. The substation capacity is 500MVA.

Regiomontano Banco I Substation has received approval from Secretaria de Energia de Mexico (SENER) to undertake the works on the project.
