Description
The project was developed by KELAG International and VERBUND Hydro Power. Energie AG Oberosterreich Trading, KELAG International and VERBUND Hydro Power are currently owning the project.
Reisseck II is a pumped storage project. The gross head of the project is 595m. The penstock length is 817m. The penstock diameter is 3.6m. The project generated 970 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $454.604m.

The project construction commenced in 2010 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2015.
Contractors Involved
Voith Hydro Holding was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of francis turbines, each with 215MW nameplate capacity.
Andritz Hydro supplied 2 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 240 MVA.
