Rennes Substation is a 400kV substation located in Rennes, Brittany, France.

Description

Rennes Substation project, which is a new substation, will be operated by Reseau de Transport d’Electricite.

The designed voltage level of the substation is 400/90kV and the operating voltage level is 400/90kV.

The step-in voltage of the project is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 90kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 240MVA.

The development of the Rennes Substation project was approved by The French Energy Regulatory Commission in 2020. The project is expected to be commissioned in 2022.
