Renzonghai (Tianwan) is a 240MW hydro power project. It is located on Tianwan river/basin in Sichuan, China. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 2004 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2009.

Renzonghai (Tianwan) is a reservoir based project. The hydro reservoir capacity is 112 million cubic meter. The project generated 1,083 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $249.71m.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to State Grid Corporation of China under a power purchase agreement.

Contractors Involved

DEC Dongfang Electric Machinery was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of pelton turbines, each with 120MW nameplate capacity.
