Riel – Dorsey Line is a 500kV overhead line from Riel Substation, Toronto, Canada, to Dorsey Substation, Toronto, Canada.

Construction works on the Riel – Dorsey Line started in 2019 and the project was commissioned in 2020.


The Riel – Dorsey Line, which is an overhead line, is being operated by Manitoba Hydro-Electric Board. The Riel – Dorsey Line is a new line. The line carries alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

The development of the Riel – Dorsey Line project was approved by Alberta Utilities Commission in 2019 and the project works were completed in 2020.
