The Riviera Maya Combined Cycle Power Plant is 493MW gas fired power project. It is planned in Quintana Roo, Mexico. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2022 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2024.

Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Comision Federal de Electricidad.

It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The fuel will be procured from Cuxtal Phase 2 gas pipeline.

The project cost is expected to be around $478.259m.
