Roundup – Kummer Ridge Line is a 345kV overhead line with a length of 51.5km from Roundup, McKenzie County, North Dakota, US, to Kummer Ridge, McKenzie County, North Dakota, US.

The project, which is currently under construction, is expected to be commissioned in 2021.


Roundup – Kummer Ridge Line is an overhead line that will be operated by Basin Electric Power Coop. The line will carry alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

Approximately $45m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.

The development of the Roundup – Kummer Ridge Line project has been approved by the North Dakota Public Service Commission.
