The project is being developed and currently owned by Calik Enerji San Ve Tic.
Sadmeli is a run-of-river project. The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 13.12 million cubic meter. The gross head and net head of the project will be 144m and 127.31m respectively. The penstock length will be 816.7m. The penstock diameter will be 5.25m. The project is expected to generate 637.6 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $331.865m.
The hydro power project consists of 2 turbines, each with 76.5MW nameplate capacity.
The project will have 2 electric generators installed at the project site. The generator capacity is likely to be 85 MVA.
