Description
The project is developed and owned by Saga Ouchi Solar. The company has a stake of 100%.
Saga-Ouchi Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 320,000 square meters.
The project generates 23,863.147MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 4,223 households, offsetting 11,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $43.447m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in April 2018.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Kyushu Electric Power under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.325kWh for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 21.04MW.
Contractors Involved
Kyudenko was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Hanwha Q CELLS was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 75,144 modules each with 280W of nameplate capacity.
Kyudenko is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
