The project is developed and owned by Iberdrola Generacion Mexico, S.A de.

The project generates 241,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 38,000 households, offsetting 250,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $7.825m.

Contractors Involved

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 50 units of G114-2.1 MW turbines, each with 2.1MW nameplate capacity.
