The project is currently owned by Hydro-Quebec.
Sarcelle is a run-of-river project. The net head of the project is 600m. The project generated 1,100 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $375.657m.

Contractors Involved
GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of pelton turbines, each with 50MW nameplate capacity.
GE Renewable Energy supplied electric generator(s) for the project. The generator capacity is 56 MVA.
