Saudi Aramco North Park Project is a 10.5MW solar PV power project. It is located in Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in December 2012.

Description

The project was developed by BELECTRIC and Sun & Life. The project is currently owned by Saudi Arabian Oil.

Saudi Aramco North Park Project is a roof-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 17 hectares.

The project generates 17,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 6,000 households, offsetting 12,125t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $50.37m.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in December 2012.

Contractors Involved

BELECTRIC and Sun & Life were selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

Solar Frontier was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 126,000 modules at the site.

SMA Solar Technology supplied 9 of its Sunny Central 500HE inverters to the project site.

SMA Solar Technology supplied 9 of its Sunny Central 630HE inverters to the project site.
