The power generated from the project is sold to Sistema Interconectado Central under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
Baldwin County Electric Membership Cooperative was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 3 units of francis turbines, each with 25.6MW nameplate capacity.
WESTINGHOUSE WATERWHEEL GENERATOR supplied 3 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 28.5 MVA.
