SSE, CK Infrastructure Holdings and Power Assets Holdings are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 50%, 25% and 25% respectively.

It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The fuel is procured from SSE plc.

Siemens supplied Hydrogen Cooled electric generator for the Seabank Power Station (Seabank Power Station Phase II).

Standard Fasel Lentjes supplied steam boiler for the project.
