The project was developed by SunEdison Energy India and is currently owned by Greenko Dutch with a stake of 100%.

SEI Phoebus – Virudhunagar Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project.

The electricitiy generated from the plant has offsetted 81,492t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.104kWh for a period of 25 years.
