Description
The project is currently owned by PT Energi Sengkang.
It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant that is used for Baseload. The fuel is procured from Kampung Baru Gas Field.
The project cost is $225m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in September 1997.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to PT PLN (Persero) under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years. The contracted capacity is 315MW.

ABB Kraftwerke was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
Sengkang Combined Cycle Power Plant (Sengkang Combined Cycle Power Plant Block I Unit I) is equipped with GE Power GT8C gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 85MW nameplate capacity.
Sengkang Combined Cycle Power Plant (Sengkang Combined Cycle Power Plant Block I Unit II) is equipped with GE Power steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 50MW nameplate capacity.
