Shamaldysai is a 240MW hydro power project. It is located on Naryn/Syr Darya river/basin in Kyrgyzstan. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 1992.

Description

The project is currently owned by Electric Stations.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 40 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 31m. The project generated 902 GWh of electricity.

The hydro power project consists of 3 turbines, each with 80MW nameplate capacity.

NPO Elsib supplied 3 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 94 MVA.
