Description

The project was developed by Shin Pyeongtaek Power. Korea Western Power, GS Energy and KB Asset Management are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 40%, 35% and 25% respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant.

The project cost is $912.477m.

POSCO Engineering & Construction and Seohee Construction were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

Shin Pyeongtaek Combined Cycle Power Plant (Shin Pyeongtaek Combined Cycle Power Plant Gas Turbine I) is equipped with Mitsubishi Power M501J – 60Hz gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 319.2MW nameplate capacity.

Shin Pyeongtaek Combined Cycle Power Plant (Shin Pyeongtaek Combined Cycle Power Plant Gas Turbine II) is equipped with Mitsubishi Power M501J – 60Hz gas turbine. The phase consists of 1 gas turbine with 319.2MW nameplate capacity.

Shin Pyeongtaek Combined Cycle Power Plant (Shin Pyeongtaek Combined Cycle Power Plant Steam Turbine) is equipped with Mitsubishi Power steam turbine. The phase consists of 1 steam turbine with 304.5MW nameplate capacity.

Mitsubishi Power supplied electric generator for the project.

Doosan supplied steam boiler for the project.

KEPCO KPS Philippines, Korea Western Power and Mitsubishi Power were contracted to render operations & maintenance services for the project.
