Construction works on the Shulbinsk HPP (Semey) – Aktogay – Taldykorgan – Alma Line started in 2012 and the project was commissioned in 2018.

Description

The Shulbinsk HPP (Semey) – Aktogay – Taldykorgan – Alma Line, which is an overhead line, is being operated by Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating. The Shulbinsk HPP (Semey) – Aktogay – Taldykorgan – Alma Line is a new line. The line carries alternating current (AC) through double circuit cable.

The development of the Shulbinsk HPP (Semey) – Aktogay – Taldykorgan – Alma Line project was approved by Ministry of Energy of Kazakhstan in 2012 and the project works were completed in 2018.
