Description

The project was developed by Andrade Gutierrez and Novonor. The project is currently owned by Furnas Centrais Eletricas with a stake of 100%.

The gross head and net head of the project are 115m and 101.65m respectively. The total number of penstocks, pipes or long channels that carry water down from the hydroelectric reservoir to the turbines inside the actual power station, are 3 in number. The penstock length is 113m. The penstock diameter is 6m. The project cost is $851.439m.
