Sitamarhi Substation is a 400kV substation located in Sitamarhi, Bihar, India.
The works are expected to be commissioned in 2021.
Sitamarhi Substation project, which is a new substation, will be operated by Power Grid Corporation of India.
The designed voltage level of the substation is 400/220/132kV and the operating voltage level is 400/220/132kV.
The step-in voltage of the project is 400kV and the step-out voltage is 132kV. Upon completion, the substation will have a capacity of 400MVA.
Sitamarhi Substation project development status
The development of the Sitamarhi Substation project was approved by Bihar Electricity Regulatory Commission. The project is expected to be commissioned in 2021. Approximately $87.27m was financed by the authorities to undertake the construction works of the project.
