The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the month was as follows:

  1. Supply & Erection: 20 contracts and a 95.2% share
  2. Project Implementation: one contract and a 4.8% share.

Europe leads smart grid activity in June 2020

Comparing contracts activity in smart grid segment in different regions of the globe, Europe held the top position with 11 contracts and a share of 52.4% during June 2020, followed by North America with six contracts and a 28.6% share and Asia-Pacific with four contracts and a 19% share.

Wind is leading technology for smart grid contracts in June 2020

Among the technologies, wind accounted for seven contracts with a 77.8% share, followed by hydro with one contract and an 11.1% share and solar with one contract and an 11.1% share.
