The project is developed and owned by Solar Philippines Tarlac.
Solar Philippines Concepcion Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 150 hectares.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 300,000 households, offsetting 1,000,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $150m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in April 2019.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Manila Electric under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.058kWh for a period of 20 years.
Contractors Involved
Solar Philippines Power Project Holdings was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 450,000 modules at the site.
