Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the South and Central America region in Q2 2019 with 31 contracts and a 53.4% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 18 contracts and a 31% share and Electricity Procurement with five contracts and an 8.6% share during the quarter.
The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 29 contracts and a 93.5% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: one contract and a 3.2% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: one contract and a 3.2% share.
