Power Plant stood at first place when compared with other power tender categories in the South and Central America region in Q4 2019 with 104 contracts and a 66.7% share, followed by Generation Equipment with 22 contracts and a 14.1% share and Electricity Procurement with 21 contracts and a 13.5% share during the quarter.
The proportion of contracts by category tracked by GlobalData in the quarter was as follows:
- Project Implementation: 99 contracts and a 95.2% share
- Repair, Maintenance, Upgrade & Others: four contracts and a 3.8% share
- Consulting & Similar Services: one contract and a 1% share.
Wind is top technology for South and Central America power plant contracts in Q4 2019
