South Fork Wind Project is a 132MW offshore wind power project. It is planned in Atlantic Ocean, New York, the US. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2022 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2023.

Description
The project is being developed by Deepwater Wind South Fork. The project is co-owned by Eversource Energy and Orsted US Offshore Wind, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 70,000 households, to offset 300,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $637.296m. The turbines will be mounted on fixed monopile foundations.
