The project was developed by Dominion Energy and Urban Grid Solar. The project is currently owned by Dominion Energy.

Spring Grove Solar I PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 1,150 acres.

The project generates 227,389MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 18,273 households, offsetting 169,227t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $145.7m.

The project consists of 333,720 modules.
