Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Mulilo Springbok Wind Power.
The electricitiy generated from the plant will offset 116,783.706t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $102.714m.
The wind power project consists of 25 turbines.
The project will have 105m high towers.
Development Status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2023.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Eskom Holdings SOC under a power purchase agreement.
