Description

The process of combustion has been adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Tires which is a kind of industrial waste is used as a feedstock to power the project.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in 1991.

Contractors Involved

Standardkessel Baumgarte Holding supplied steam boiler for the project. The boiler installed at the site has a capacity of 54TPH. The temperature witnessed inside the boiler is around 500Degree Celsius. The steam is pressurized inside the boiler at 79bar.Standardkessel Baumgarte Holding supplied the electric generator for the project.
